Hello, The analysis of the Learned Lessons generated during the early years of my 14 years of managing a PMO indicated that more than 60% of the causes of Risks were from Presales stage. Examples are underestimates in Cost & Schedules, Solution invalidity, unclear dependencies and customer responsibilities. To mitigate for these Risks at early stage, the PMO offered at Presales stage (free) services of: - Review and validate Technical Design - Review and validate Estimates of Cost and Shcedule - Partake in Sales Presentations (Implementation Approach, Timelines, Dependencies, Payment Milestones...) - Review and validate Contractual and Legal Terms (Contract Management)
